Default looking at possibly goin turbo. need some advice.

ok looking at modding the camaro a little more finally. looking at going turbo. i have a 5.3 block that im having bored to 3.898 going to use the stock 3.622 stroke and rod length, deck height will stay the same. looking at some ported 317's, .041 head gasket, im going to stick with the ls6 cam that i already have and wanting to do a single turbo along with it. wondering what kinda power i can look forward too, what injectors would be good for a decent turbo im thinking t67 something not too crazy for stock dimensions. and what would be better as far as front mount or rear mount? thinking of 3.5" exhaust should flow pretty well. also trying to figure out which pistons would be good for this. oh and for a pump im pretty sure my walbro 340 should hold up. and for those that will chime in just to say "do a search" i am but im posting as well. thanks in advance

easy cheap setup would be a masterpower t70, 38mm WG, and 50mm BOV. the 5.3 should handle up to 12psi pretty easy. 2.5in hotside, 3in cold side, and 3.5in downpipe... Should be a pretty solid setup using truck manifolds.

i got 60lbs that i may be selling in a month or so, that worked fine with my t70 set up, if your interested in them. Been in the truck for maybe 200 miles lol, just going bigger this winter.

the valve reliefs will just have to deal with your cam specs unless your talkin a dished piston to try to lower the compression, stock compression is good for a mild turbo setup like this, forged pistions would be nice insurance though.

not going with any different cam. im keeping the ls6 cam. and using ported 317's and .041" head gaskets along with stock deck height, stroke and rod length. hoping the compression will be somewhere around 9:1.

Should be good with stock style pistons then, forged would still be beneficial reliability wise.

with 317's you could probably do 15lb of boost, from what ive seen people do on here...
