New Alternator Mount Option This will only work if you DO NOT have power steering. The alt on my car had been bugging me for a while so i came up with this. The alternator is off of a 2.2 S10 and the belt is 42.5 inches long. Everything for the mount can be bought at Lowes for under $15.00......

2.2 s10 alternator, cheap turnbuckle, 3 1" steel spacers, washers, lock washer, 42.5" belt(asp pulley), 2" 12x1.5 bolt, 4" 12x1.5 bolt, 3" 12x1.5 bolt, the plug on the alt is the same as a ls1 so you may just have to extend it a little.
I ran the car last night, made 5 passes and didnt have a problem throwing the belt
