Default Part number for Cobalt 2.5 BARIAT/MAP Sensor

This cobalt map iat sensor deal is driving my crazy. I got the 12614973 sensor and it's only a 3 wire sensor. I've searched for hours and can't seem to find the correct part number. Is the correct sensor a 4 or 5 wire sensor? What is the correct part number for the 2.5 BAR IAT/MAP sensor. Does anyone have a picture of it, with the pins showing?

I thought I had this all sorted out and now I have the 12614973, which I don't think has the IAT in it, and a 88988320 pigtail which is a 4 wire. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.................

If you're trying to use this for a 2 bar OS you do NOT want the cobalt sensor with IAT. The plug and play sensor people use with 2 bar OS is 126151136.

I have the 12614973 sensor also and it seems to be the plug and play for the stock truck MAP. I got the part number from a Hot Rod article and I am wondering if the part number was a misprint in the mag. Anyone know?

If you are trying to do a 2.5 BAR TMAP, this is what you need. See the wiring layout above, and use these part numbers.

It is an integrated IAT sensor and MAP sensor. Beyond this, you will need to make some adjustments in HP tuners.

Cobalt ss TMAP sensor number 90423637 (2.5 BAR)
Pigtail for TMAP sensor number 88988320

No the 2.5 Bar I have is a MAP only 3 wire and looks just like a stock truck MAP. part # 12614973. After researching I am not sure that it is even a boost referenced MAP. I looked it and it is compatible with a bunch of nonboosted vehicles. I did get a part number off this thread and I am gonna buy, Hell whats another $50 at this point.

I feel your pain! I think that part # 12614973 ended up being only a 2 bar map and I gave that to frojoe as he has a seperate IAT.

There's no GM 2.5 bar MAP sensor that will plug in to the factory harness. The only option for 2.5 bar is to run the 4-wire Cobalt MAPT or use a modified factory sensor with a 2.5 bar element inside of the stock sensor housing.
