would this cam work well for a turbo set up???

Default would this cam work well for a turbo set up???

a buddy of mine has this cam in his vette right now and wants to swap it out.. im in the middle of doing a twin turbo 6.0 and it has the stock cam in right now. thinking of buying this off him and putting it in if it will work well

here is the specs

comp cams 232/240 .595/.608 115

It'll work way better than stock and could possibly be perfect depending on the rest of the setup.

It's not ideal. Overlap at .050" is 6°. But it will certainly flow more air than a stock cam.

Having overlap is not a bad thing as long as the system is designed accordingly. For instance, you wouldn't want to put a small exh housing behind it. With a couple of T4 .80 AR housings and free flowing dual 3" pipes, that cam would like it.

I'm hoping my cam with 0° overlap at .050" and twin T4 .68 A/R housings will make a nice spooling street car. Got to get some time off work so I can work on it again.
