Default Differences between sbc and lq4 procharger kits

I'm looking at buying a f1 procharger setup that's currently mounted on a 350 small block, but I need it to fit on an LQ4. What all would I need to worry about for swapping over? The only thing I can think of is drill new holes in the mounting plate (assuming everything is spaced correctly) and a new crank pulley / dampner. Anything else?

Short answer no but we need to know more info. What car are you going to put it in and what rotation is the head unit. More than likely the brackets will not for for your application but the head unit itself might work if it is the correct rotation you need

Setup will be going in an old Datsun 240z, and the head unit is standard rotation.

the issue will be what you have room for. Bob at Brute speed will likely chime in and he has dimensions for the lsx transplant kits

I'm in the same boat, standard rotation f1 w sbc brakets, basically going to have to buy the lsx hot rod kit. But they don't clear the hood in a third gen camaro.

Bob, thank you for the links, they are very helpful. The LSx transplant kits on your website, are they the cog kit or serpentine? (Cog is what is pictured by the order button, but isn't specified) What all is included with the kit? Mounting bracket, tensioner, belt, crank / blower pulleys, and mounting hardware?

Also, does this need any components from the sbc kit to work? If I was to just buy a standard rotation f1r unit, I could purchase your kit and have everything I need to mount it to my LQ4?

socal - How different does the sbc bracket look when holding it up to the lsx? It's nothing that drilling new holes and some trimming couldn't fix?

Wait wait, socal. The issue for you is not with the sbc fitting the lsx, but that with using the sbc setup you won't have enough clearance in your 3rd gen?

I sold a kit several years ago to a guy who got it to clear in his 3rd gen by using the "Repositioner Bracket" that ProCharger sells.

I sell the brackets for both the cog and the serpentine as well as complete systems. Here is the link to the piece parts for the Transplant kits. http://shop.brutespeed.com/LS-Transplant_c184.htm
The brackets don't come with the pulleys, I sell those separate. The brackets do come with the mounting hardware.

I had heard that ProCharger basically started with the sbc Chevy kit when they came out with the Transplant, so I think you could drill out the bracket you have to make it work. Bob
