Default Stock Ly6 VVT cam or LS2 timing swap and perfoamnce cam

So after talking with Mast, TSP, and Comp no one has a VVT cam specific for turbo set-ups yet. I'm not looking for nothing crazy as far as power cause it's going to be a street car with very little time on a 1/4 mile. I'm looking for 600-650RWHP. I'm thinking with a stock cam a 76MM turbo should be enough, obviously the fuel system upgrades, and electronic upgrades are need as well.

What would you guys recommend the LS2 timing and cam swap or keep the VVT set up and just turbo that?

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Unless i missed something the LS9 cam isn't VVT so i wouldn't be able to retain it. If i was going to switch over i would get an after market performance cam and get those benefits.

You might try it with the stock cam and see how you like it, it'll make alot of power with the stock cam. I was impressed with the stock LQ4 cam and that is smaller than your cam.

Im probably going to end up running the stock cam. If the numbers in your signature are what your running that's pretty sweet. im going to start looking through our sponsors and see what we what they recommond for a turbo. I was just hopeing that there was a bigger stock GM VVT cam in the new motors. I guess not but it should make pretty good power with the stocker for now sooner or later some one will step up with one.
