Default Running more than 2 bar of boost on a 2 bar tune

Just curious here... I have yet to build my new setup but I was wondering how easy it is, if doable to run more than 2 bar of boost on an HP tuners 2 bar operating system?

I have a 1:1 boost referenced regulator, now if im going to run more than 15psi would it be best to put in a 3 bar sensor and then devide the current 2 bar table up into 3 parts and tune it that way? Or just trick it and add more fuel at the max pressure level?

I've read the 2 bar op system is way more accurate. And my current version of HP tuners I can not upgrade it because it is the older serial version and i'd really not like to buy a whole new version.

Anyone doing this? How?

Thanks.

buy a 3 bar sensor and run the 3 bar tune OS. it doesn't cost any extra credits if you already have the 2 bar os. No point in making things difficult by cutting the resolution of a 2 bar OS when you can switch to the 3 bar for free...

Re-read my first post. I can not upgrade anything in HP Tuners. There are credits or anything on my HP tuners and you cant buy them. It only has the 2 bar license.

Can you do it? Yes. You can just run the last row in your VE table as your high boost setting. Your next boost level down needs to be well below 15psi so it isn't super fat there.

Is it the correct way to do it? Absolutely not. You should do whatever you need to do to run 3bar.

Thanks, I know i isnt correct, just wanted to see how possible it is. Im still up in the air on a few things, so who knows... by spring I could have a 3 bar setup. Having AADD sucks... (automotive attention deficit disorder...lol) I change my mind and what car im working on so many times its nuts.

Quite a few people run more than 15lbs on the 2 bar setup. It's not perfect, but it works.
