415 LS3 4.2LC Twin Screw Supercharger
I am saving & plannning to build a streetable Mid-9 second LS powered 1987-1993 Mustang GT Hatchback.
I was thinking carb'd LS stroker but I want a street driven car that I can Drag Race & Show at cruise ins.
I remember when KB twin screw superchargers first started showing up on 5.0L Mustangs and those in the know said these superchargers feel like a 428 SCJ.
I want a 8-12 psi setup on a 415 LS3 stroker this should make 600-700 RWHP all day on pump E-85 with a mild hydrallic roller cam/low CR pistons(8.75-9.25:1).
The Muse/Desire to build an LS powered Mustang came from Popular Hot Rodding magazine's The Orphan article about an LS1 powered 1990 Mustang LX coupe.
Am I on the right track???

That would be super awesome. The KB site shows a 2.8 to be the right size for that size engine and boost...maybe one that is too big would spin so slowly it wouldnt be efficient? Who knows that would be an awesome car though. Even a totally stock LS3 and a 2.8 would run in the 9s with one of those blowers in a super light Mustang, that would be alot cheaper! A Mustang would be as light as my car and that a stock LS3 with blower would make alot more power, I went 136mph with a stock cammed LQ4, so you'd expect that to go 142+ and be super mild.

Id look in to the procharger setup for body swapped LS transplants or you could run a vette style blower setup with vette accessories. OR a turbo setup. I would also keep it fuel injected myself. Tons of viable options out there. good luck!
