Square port heads any good for a turbo?

Square port heads any good for a turbo? Are l92s or ls3 heads any good for a turbo build? I was told the deck was too thin. So are 317s any better? Im planning my mustangs build and was thinking of running l92s and a victor jr on top of my 6.0. But now im thinking of just using the 317s i already have and a super victor. Anybody have any insight they can send my way on the subject?
