Default LQ4 vs LY6 stock vs stock

I've got a stock LQ4 long block with a small cam and around 15 psi snd its worked great. I was thinking about doing another lighter car and doing the same thing with an LY6. Are there any things to watch out for with the LY6? Thanks

Not sure on the vvt but I assumed it was pretty much like an LQ4 with L92 heads. I wonder how much it costs to remove the vvt stuff?

You can either buy a limiter kit, or put in a non-vvt timing set.

It is basically an iron gen IV (read 58x crank reluctor) with L92 heads.
