Actually i think most go with 31x12x4. Ebay is a great place for that stuff. This intercooler is rated to about 1k hp according to some people on this board.

Cheap piping set

Then all you need to do is come up with some way to mount it and your good! All for around $300.

Thats the one I went with. Its basically the same as the one EPP was selling at a fraction of the cost.

I don't want to buy junk. (Not saying the stuff above is or anything) I just don't wanna spend 1k to do a front mount setup that's all.

I bought my IC from ebay (same as everyone else, core size is 24x12x4), got my piping from Jegs, and got the couplers and t-bolt clamps from siliconeintakes.

I got a IC and piping kit 31x12x4 with 3" in/outlets from CXRacing, was kind of like a universal with various aluminum pipe and bends, some couplers and t-bolt clamps. I then replaced any of the 90's and got a reducer for connecting it to the throttle body from silicone intakes. Got a ATI race valve second hand and had an aluminum flange made (if buying new just order with the right flange already.) Used a chop saw with a high tooth blade to cut the bends like butter and paid a buddy to weld them together.

Cost me $750 I think completed.

Ive always heard that its best to keep the BPV as close as reasonably possible to the TB to reduce backpressure and also help with a reliable reading for the MAF (if you have one). Mine is here:

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c1...Picture208.jpg

However, I've also seen people putting it before the IC, that way, the IC is not constantly being bombarded with hot air from the blower, then when you're ready to boost, your IC is a little cooler to start off with..

Both ways make sense. I guess its up to you to decide what you want to do. Or you could do both if you have the funds It will physically work pretty much anywhere you place it on the pressure side of things.

iv seen people run 2 big red race valves before. if your pushing 15+ psi, could you put one before the intercooler, and one right next to the tb?
