Default PT88,s91,sx80?

well guys, since garrett is screwing the pooch on the gt91, Im looking into finding a new turbo to compliment my build, and wanted to get some recommendations..build is as follows

421CI lq4
compression 9:5:1 and intercooled
317 heads, not decided on cam, either EPS or ZO6
vic jr intake/4150 TB
jakes's 4l80e/ tight 3200-3400 stall
8.8 rear 3.55 gears
assorted bolt on's enough fuel to support 1200Hp

thats the jist of the build, now here is the kicker..its going to be a rearmount setup, with spool valve. Power goals are 800 on pump and up to 1000 on pump +meth or race gas..any starting point would be helpful guys, and before i went to jose or the sponsors and bothered them, I wanted to get opinions

The GT91's were backordered indeed, but the units are coming into stock again this week. All back orders will be filled and then we will have additional units available.

My suggestion would be the larger S91 turbine side (96mm) or the GT91 with the bigger (99mm) turbine wheel option, though both of these options are a little pricier. The units will spool just a touch slower but support more power without coming into back pressure problems. Also the S91 will be back in Feb 2011 . Demand for it has got us back to making the unit, and it was a complete BEAST of a street/strip turbo for years. The unit has now been revised as well.

They are supporting 80+ lbs of boost on the single turbo diesels.....so I'm sure they will work on a 347

Dr. Turbo, Last time I talked to Jose, he said that the BW units were the biggest available with divided housings. Has this changed? OP, said he wants to use a spool valve.

zombie you are one of my inspirations for wanting to run this set up, yes I def want to run a spool valve, and was wondering also what the largest divided housing turbo I could *in the range stated* run with the valve..hopefully Dr. turbo can chime in

I'm confused so a ST80 and a SX80 can be identical?
