Which Tial BOV spring do i choose?
My car pulls 18 in/hg vacuum and tial offers a 16 in/hg and a 20 in/hg. Im smack dab in the middle. Im thinking maybe choose the 20 in/hg spring for a slightly slower response and possibly keep some boost (minimal if any) in between shifts without causing compressor surge? What do you guys think of my theory? lol. thanks for any advice.

Hmm would think if you got 20 it won't close at idle. This wouldn't be good. So would think 16 is best. I have tial on my 97 talon but forget what spring i went with. I would contact tial and ask them directly. They seemed very helpful have talked to them several times mostly about gate questions.

ugh, the 9psi spring pulls 18in/hg at idle. It's the white one. http://www.tialmedia.com/documents/w3_tial_bov50_sp.pdf

if you don't like the way the -8psi reacts let me know and you can swap for the -10. technically your vacuum is rated for the -10, the bov uses the vacuum spike you get when you chop the throttle so your -18in/hg will probably spike well over -20in/hg
