Default Vengeance Racing custom Twin Turbo C6 Z06 build

We just got all of the parts back from the coater this morning. I figured I would post up some pics for all to see.

The car- C6 Z06 Corvette

Modications:
  • Forged LSX 427 Shortblock
  • TFS 245cc 6 Bolt Cylinder Heads
  • Vengeance Racing Custom Spec Turbo Cam
  • McCleod Twin Disc Clutch
Turbo System:
Turbonectics T66 Turbos
JGS500 Wastegates
JGS TK300 Blow off Valves
TurboWerx Exa Scavenge Pump
Bell Intercooler Core
End Tanks Fabricated by Vengeance Racing
Fuel Injector Connection F IC1000 Fuel Injectors
AMS 1000 Boost Controller with C02
Complete/Custom Fuel System
All Fabrication/Installation by Vengeance Racing

Turbos will be mounted by the bellhousing. We are using C6 manifolds that have been fully ported/coated.

Our last turbo build produced 1008RWHP @5800rpm using smaller turbos and a stock LS7 block. That particular car is currently being upgraded to an RHS block/All Pro Headed Solid roller 434 and we will turn up the boost and make some GOOD power!!!

This combo should easily see 1100RWHP on a conservative tune.

Pics below. More to come as progress continues!!

18.5psi dyno pull

14psi/pump gas

18.5psi/C16- Clutch lets go half way thru the run. I believe we found the limits of the McCleod Street Twin.. Time for an RPS Triple disc and 26psi!!!

Stay tuned for 26psi/RPS Triple Carbon clutch upgrade within the next 4 to 5 weeks. Our customer is busy enjoying the 960rwhp he is making on pump gas and will bring the car back shortly for more boost/clutch.

Now that everything is back from coating we will be taking pics detailing the rest of the build as progress is made.

Is that BOV going on the exit side of the intercooler or is it just sitting there. I assume sitting there?

Curious to see how similar the hot pipes looks to the APS C6 Corvette kit?

Badazz however.

The only piece of this kit that remotely resembles anything from the APS kit is the charge pipes. We ran 3" oval under the cradle to the intercooler in a similar manner to APS.

There's two of them and they're mounted. You can see the other one on the opposite side of the intercooler outlet.
