boosting the LQ9 a few questions
so guys i got a fresh LQ9 with ARP Head Bolts, ARP Rod Bolts, ARP Cam Bolts, 224/224 .580/.580 lift 114 lsa, comp Valve springs, comp pushrods, ported heads, mls headgaskets. im running the stock truck intake. i wanna get a set of fuel rails, 60# injectors, aeromotive 1000 fuel pressure regulator, and a mp t70 turbo. specs on the turbo are
Compressor
-58 Trim Inducer Wheel
.70 A/R w/ 4"(101.7mm) inlet and 2.5"(64mm) outlet
Turbine
-76 Trim Exducer Wheel (P-Trim)
.96 A/R TURBINE HOUSING w/ standard T4 undivided Inlet and an 3" v-band outlet
where should this turbo spool? exhaust will be made with flipped truck manifolds. what stall convertor should i grab? trans and rear end are completely built. 4.10 gears out back. im runnin a walbro 255 will that be enough for 10 psi? also the truck will have a big front mount intercooler. let me know what you guys think and what kind of power is to be expected.

That will definetly get the job done. You may more lag due to the lare exhaust housing. That can be compensated with the right stall converter and or spool valve. I called Forced inductions about mine. They are very informative.
You will need more fuel. I would get a a1000 rather than running twins. May need bigger feed and return depending on hp goals.
You should easily be in the 700-800hp range. Make sure you get a good tune. You will definetly need more fuel at that point.

This man speaks the truth. I was limited, it made the same power at 8 psi as it did at 16 psi. It might have that much at intake but exhaust corks the engine.

Have you verified that the engine is a lq9 and not a lq4? They look identical from the exterior and even use same heads and intake. The lq9 is 10:1scr and the lq4 is 9.4:1 scr. The lq4 will handle up to 10psi on pump gas with proper calibration and enough fuel supply and fmic. 10psi may be pushing it on pump with a lq9
