TX2K11 and the Solid Tech Camaro
All I can say about this meet is WOW. This was one of the craziest meets ever. Had a ton of fun with everyone and the cars were the baddest street machines in the world.
First off I have to tell everyone thank you for all the hard work, specifically Kyle, Greyskull, and Eric for their work on getting the trans pulled rebuilt and back in on Friday. Termi for his towing, chute lending/packing and staging, parts finding, Danny for his help on the car, and everyone that was with the TSC group. Bumberras performance for teh help with the lift. Steve in Katy TX for putting together a tranny that is working great, Hennesey for making us our second dumptube, Titan for giving us a few fittings. Would never made it anywhere without everyone's help.
Kyle and I made some hits on Wednesday night to see how the car would do, first hit felt ok, second hit i think is where the tranny started to let go. Thursday Silver 2002TA and I did some pulls along with Joe on Johnvons bike on motor and a bad fuel pump. We thought the car was spinning the tires but apparently it was spinning the clutches in the tranny. We have some in car from those runs. Went out later Thursday night to do some pulls with TT viper and the green 1200 hp supra but never found them so Termi and I did a hit and the tranny was done for. Went to Bumbera's Performance Friday to fill bottles for the bikes and they offered the use of their lift and recommended a bad *** tranny guy in Katy. 8 hours later the car was rolling on a totally rebuilt trans by one of the best in TX. Saturday on the second pass (first qualifying pass) in the car with a new setup and 2 years of storage we went 8.85@162.8. Dump tube #1 decided to go for a walk about the 1k ft mark, along with the nose giving it up to the wind. Off we went to Hennesey to see if they could weld up a new one for Sunday, they did and we were in business again. Didn't take the car off the trailer for Saturday night street racing, were were beat up and tired. Sunday had a couple of fittings break in the first pass and Titan got us back up with a few fittings, Round three elims we went 8.90@158 spinning the whole way down pedaling a bit, dump tube #2 decides she was in love with dump tube #1 and found her true love. Finals with the Outlaws was a good race but stock motor just needs a bit more umph, fuel pump thought it was two for one day and we had 2 psi of pressure at 1000 ft out. Won with a 9.08@154.9 against Outlaws fastest pass to date 9.69@140.8!!!!!
With the car sitting at the end of the track rode hard and put away wet we went to the trophy ceremony. God had one more thing for us. Wind gusted and blew over 1 trophy and broke it. Peter offered a new one but that wouldn't be appropriate for the week.
We will try and get what footage and pics we have but I think other people have most of the footage.
Thanks Peter for a great event, we will be back next year for sure!!

Just glad you guys were ok. Definitely come down for no bull/RODS. There are some dirty cars in that event. Still need to get the converter loosened up, 3 step on it and leave with some power. the LQ9 block is not liking the power so much lol, well see how long this Eagle stuff will put up with it. Damn car, every time we put it together we need better ****, ugh.
