I have a stage 2 extreme kit and I don't think my turbos are close to the size of these ones. I think you can get way more than 1000hp to wheels ? ...... 1200hp?

Also what are the drilled holes for on the cold side ?

Can you also pm me a price.

Thanks Warren

I have seen over 1000 at the wheels with gt35s, these will do more. 1200 i would say wouldnt be out of the question but it will depend on the motor setup.

Its a ported shroud/anti-surge housing.

You have to call or email for upgrade.

Devin@dktperformamce.com

( mods delete that if you have to, but no sponsor has a ball bearing upgrade for APS. So I hope that didnt break rules)

They are custom turbine housings. DKT linked up with Precision to have custom housings made. I got a per order and my friend with a C5 APS kit got on pre order. DKT says they will fit C5, F-Body kits for sure. They are looking for guys with GTO & G8 to test fit. But idk anyone with those, so..........

I gotcha. If they were the same price as what he quoted me before, they were high, but do give guys a ball bearing replacement if thats what they are after. As Im sure you know, there are already journal bearing replacements that flow more than the GT35's.

Im looking for forward to the results.

LG upgrades, which is still a 20g turbo, flow 70lbs/min. So that's not very good if these flow 68, yet they are bigger than a GT35R. Am I missing something?

^^^^ thank god i dont sell turbos. lol. i dont know. i was just swinging in the dark. i cant find info on the Precision site. i will have to Call Devin tomorrow. but on Garretts site it says the GTX35( which the 6262 had billet wheel also) flows 75lb/min. which if that is the case, that should be like 750 a turbo. lol. i hope i did that math right. lol.

Blackbeauty
I dont know. I know that i got ducked over on the first APS turbos, and bought extrems from APS. both journal bearings. both went bad. had a State side company rebuild the extreme(name not given but well known), and it went ****. i am tired of spending money on journal bearing turbos. so even if thes make the smae power as LG turbos and cost more. i really dont care. i love the fact there is a ball bearing option. requires less oil. spins more freely between gears. and Precision knows there ****. tons on sponsors on here run them. i had no problem getting on the preorder list.

sorry i will end my rant. just putting my tech advice about my experiance with journal turbos

I think the 6262 turbo has a 62mm compressor inducer with a 82mm exducer. The upgrade journal bearing turbos out there have a 60mm compressor inducer and can have an 82mm exducer. The PTE turbos are probably good for about 20-30 more HP on paper but do give the nice ball-bearing option.

I'm really looking forward to the results andits good someone else is making headway on good replacements. Options are nice to have.

I am dropping these bad boys into my Orange C5 with an aps kit.

I will let everyone know the results.

I couldn't use the same compressor side as the turbo's pictured above in the earlier post.
