Default spark plug boot end options? wires won't fit right

hey guys have a small problem here with spark plug wire options. i have a set of custom headers from virginia speed and there is not much room to work with. this is a 6.0 motor with coils in stock location. the truck wires are to long a spark plug end and cant fit. i tried the msd multi angle ones and they dont fit as well. i was thinking maybe the taylor 90 degree end ones as they look like a shorter boot to fit and then i can just bend wire up out of way. is there any custom kits with short boots for the sprak plug ends. i wish the spark plug end was as small as the coil end. here is a pic of what im working with if anyone has any ideas on what wires i can use.

Most of the 90's won't fit. They are turned too tight.
Check out the MSD 45* Orange silicone hight temp universal boots.

I have less room than you with upside down truck manifolds. And I'm using these just fine.

May want to mount the coils down low and run your wires from underneath.

x2, plug wires will not survive the heat passing through the header.

hmmm anyone got pics of the coils mounted low? i will still need some wires cause the way the tubes are ran in the headers they are close to the plugs even if you cant see the underside

Here is a picture of the same headers with MSD-32139 LT1 Universal wires. The wires are close, but have lasted longer than I thought they might. I will probably end up moving the coils under the headers.

I am using the same MSD universal wires but I put the coils under the dash and ran the wires out the firewall.

I will try to get you more pictures this weekend. The MSD kit had everything I needed & I think I only had to cut 2 wires to length. In looking at your pictures closer it appears that your coils might be closer to the headers than mine are and you may not have enough clearance? Mine wires have held up better than I thought they would, but I think it may be a problem when I start adding more boost and put a hood on the car. Mounting the coils under the header will probably be a better long term solution. The other wires you might want to look at are the Firecore50's. They are designed for higher heat, made to order, and not that expensive.

yeah i noticed that the coils are closer but i can always move the bracket up a little on the valve cover by slotting the holes some. im really out of options and this is looking like my best solution along with some heat shields for the wires.

driven87, here is a close up on the wire routing. No melting issues yet, but I don't love the look of it. I think mounting coils under the headers will be better long term solution. I'm not sure if it matters performance wise, but my wires are obviously much longer than stock.

I like your setup, do you have more pictures or a build thread?
