Oil pan or front cover will work just as long as its lower than the Turbo.

I got a -10an bulkhead fitting and drilled up toward the top of the pan on mine so I know it's above the oil level. Should be fine!

Guys, drill a hole... -10an bulkhead, comes with the nylon crush washer and nut to tighten on the inside of the pan. Clean, no drama, and works...

Yes but with a bulkhead your screwed if it comes loose...pull the motor, pull the pan. This is why I drilled and tapped for a 1/2 in npt- 10an fitting.

That's true, but why would they sell bulkheads for fuel cells, you'd be screwed in a similar way if that sucker came off there too, lol.

Fuel cells have a huge hole in them, either for the pumps or the filler lid. I could stick my arm in there with a crescent wrench lol

yeah thats no good, the oil return needs to be ABOVE the oil level. that sensor senses oil level which means there is oil at or slightly above that sensor.

I like to have the drain ABOVE the oil level and BELOW the windage tray.

I was wondering if anybody had pictures of the oil pan mount or any suggestions for the location(driverside, passenger side, in between motor mount and oil filter, etc). Please help.
