Default Is this LS3 Blower cam ok for a Maggie?

Hi everyone, I have a 2010 Camaro LS3 M6, LT headers, CAI, with a maggie and was putting a cam in it, I found a guy selling a new J******* Racing rough idle blower cam so I bought it, the same cam the made 760rwhp on one of his setups, now I'm being told it wont work on a maggie because it's a centri. blower cam and isn't the right spec, will this cam work ok or not with a maggie? IN .617, EX .623, DUR IN. 231, DUR EX. 243, LSA 115

Thanks

Roots blowers like a bigger exhaust split than centri set-ups. But it has a decent sized split already I'd say it will work fine.

If you like how it drives, use it. It won't make much more power than a smaller, lower overlap cam though. The smaller cam will have way better manners and be more responsive on the street. Personally, I wouldn't use it as I have little tolerance for big cam "issues". You have an almost 4 thousand car to move around. The Maggie will make it feel lighter, but your cam will fight what the Maggie is trying to do. Your choice

Is the duration the biggest problem with this cam or the lift or both?

Duration more so than lift. Both of my TVS2300 cams are in excess of .600 on the intake and exhaust. Vette is a 219/231 .607/.617 115. Truck's cam is a 215/227 .604/.614 116.
