Default HPS 1005RWHP-RHS 427/F2 Cog C5 Vette Dyno

We got the car to dyno on Friday to do some base tuning done. In the vid you will notice the pull is very short. Basicly all I could do was roll into the throttle and do a quick WOT and let out. Still made a touch over 1000rwhp spinning.

The build consist of a Proline RHS 427
F2 Cog driven Procharger
Dallas Performance F2 Bracket Kit
ECS Powerglide
Chiselded Performance A/W Intercooler

All Assembly and tuning done By
Hunters Performance Solutions

I thought the same thing.

Should only need 18 to 20 lbs to make that kind of power.

What kind of hood do you guys have to clear that intercooler?

The guy on the vid said 30 but i believe the owner says it was actually 25 pounds. At least thats what was said on the Corvette forum.

Remember this is through a PG so the numbers will be a lot lower than a manual. Not as bad as a TH400 or a 60e or 80e, but it will be lower.

You need to listen to the video again. Notice how fast the car spins up. There is no traction on the dyno. The car is spinning. That was basicly a quick stab at the gas pedal to get some sort of log for fueling.

WOW. Sorry if it came of as insulting. All I was saying is that it usually only takes 18 to 20 lbs to make that kind of number.

I didnt know what kind of tranny and rear end you were using. So great #'s.

Oh no. I did not take it as that. Sorry if my reply sounded like that also. I was just busy and trying to reply as quick as possible. Sorry
