Default LQ9 turbo setup ?'s

I would like some opinion's on what kind of 76mm turbo to go with for my HP goals. I would like to run in the RS275 class. I'm thinking i'm gonna need somewhere around 800-850 rwhp in a 3350 lb. car. Here's my setup i'm going with

02 LQ4 6.0
now has 05 LQ9 pistons & rods
rings & bearings (freshend up)
Katech rod bolts
02 up LS6 cam
317 heads, 5 angle valve job & PRC dual springs
80 lb. injectors
E85

I have a Turbonetics HP76 turbo. I think it's rated to 950hp. It's brand new. Would this work? What head gaskets would yall reccommend? And, LS6 intake or Victor Jr.? I'm not goin with a FAST intake (over my budget). I've heard that the LS6 will have a smoother power curve over the Victor. I've talked to Hellbent before. Maybe he'll chime in. It's pretty much the same setup he used on the GTO I think?

I don't think that 80# injectors are going to get you to your goal, I run 160's at 45 psi and am just about 59-60% Duty cycle at 800-850 rwhp. You would have to crank the fuel pressure up to 100+ to get them to work. (I am running E85 also).

I think you'll find that the 76mm turbo will be pretty much tapped out at your goals also.

Also, did you make sure and open up the ring gap?

To run in that class you will need a much stouter 76mm unit. Right now the top contenders are the Garrett GT76, BW S400-76 billet...etc.

Pte7685

Also get the victor jr. for what you plan on doing. Also another choice is the pte7675, but almost all rs275 and x275 dont allow billet wheel turbo's.

I've not got the short block together yet. So yea, i'm gonna open up the ring gap. I was thinking about the BW S400 also. Is there a certain kind of injector that you have ta have ta run E85?
