Default Lq4 cam

Hey I was wondering would my car be fine with a stock lq4 cam (complete motor swap). I am going to use my ls1 intake (only cause that's what I already have for now) and a psc1 pro charger also that's what I already have... I also have a ls1 cam.... And I have been looking at a ls6 cam car will mostly be a street car not much track time..... Want to build on a budget and Keep the car streetable.... Will be tuning with hp tuner

Have you done anything to the bottom end? Might think about some rod bolts at minimum if you plan on running decent amount of boost. Lots of guys run the LS6 cam or a decent custom cam for boost.

No real need for rod bolts at that level. Get better head bolts or studs instead and ls9 gaskets. Nothin wrong with stock lq4 cam. Imo
