For 60-160mph runs or 1/4 dont you think 3.50 or 3.23 will be better than 3.08?

Everything looks nasty man

Yeah, the CME gives the car character. I think I am the only person to ever drag a CME exhaust at the track too ha ha

Sweet!!! I'm sure it will be considering what rest of the car looks like and what you have done to it in the past.

Update: Got the turbo support made, turned out nice. Also got the radiator mounted where
it needs to be. Im going to run a two pusher fans to save some room. I also have to modify the radiator a little do to some outlets being block by turbo piping. I also had to bump down to a 3" cold side pipe due to the turbo being in the way. Im going to double head wrap the down pipe and run a blanket on turbo. It is coming together though.
Thank god I have the hood I have.

Two things, in an otherwise fantastic build-

I wouldnt have necked down the down pipe. turbos like big post turbine exhaust.

The turbo support certainly has side to side bracing, but lacked up and down support, which is the big issue with it as its supporting a 40+ lb turbo, and the piping is doing the work.

Ill look for you at 2k

Thanks for the input. I had to neck down the turbo. I couldnt fit a 5" downpipe anywhere. As far as the support goes it does not budge at all. It is a very solid peice made out of chromoly. It has tabs that go under the flange to support the bottom. Hopefully i will have this car done by march.

Silicon bronze is great for sealing, but lacks the strength of stainless or ER70/80 rod. The weld doesnt have the gold tint that silicon bronze has.
