How does that evacuation system work? Do you only have it hooked to
Your exhaust after turbo ?????? Also what are you using for the degas system?? How are you hosed up? Do you have all 4 bleeds hooked up? And how is the degas tank plumbed ? Looking to do something similar with rad and degas. I want to lower and tilt my rad. This will be for a street car driven often.

Thanks man. The evac enters the exhaust just after the trans and right before the mufflers. I've said it alot but i wouldn't get rid of it

Yes 4 corner coolant crossover. They enter the Degass tank at the top. I then have a -6 on the bottom that goes directly to pump suction. There is a good pressure differential across the tank so it does flow alot through there. And strips gas very effectively

steam port/surge tank test:

Seems like a simple/effective setup. Any issues with it sucking air back into the system if the tank runs low and the suction hose going to the pump has no coolant to pull down?

I have never had an issue with the pump loosing prime.

I run the degas tank about 1/4 full. This way through a normal heat cycle and coolant expansion I never move any water into the overflow and it then never recovers coolant from the overflow when cooled.

I do this because if I ever end up with any sort of water in the overflow , it got their for one reason only. Head lift

Here's mine before the cold side was done. For some reason I don't have any recent pictures on my photobucket.
