Nice build. Do you got one of the ls2's? Judging by the hood. Also, I take it your doing a front mount? Cause I see you got a set of truck manifolds. If you hit 10's on the bottle I can see this thing going in single digits. especially if you eventually go with cam, heads, + more boost.

Ok I see the rest of the pics now. Let us know the times once you get to the tracks. I plan on doing the same thing to one of these in the future

looks good,

2 questions:

1- how are you supporting that turbo, doesn't look like it is mounted to the body (and if it is i hope you are using solid motor mounts). if it isn't i'd expect the hot side will probably crack after a few heat cycles.

2- how are you going to run an air filter with the turbo mounted like that?

The car has solid mounts.
but I'm in the process of building a little support for it.

Ill be running a Turbo mesh instead of the filter.

Currently putting a 5.3 motor in the car. Should be done within the next couple of days.
Getting it tuned with pump gas and Meth. Dual nozzle.

I can only imagine the back pressure behind that turbo with that exhaust setup, do you have a cutout anywhere their?

Just to clarify, coming from personal experience... See pic below, i went that route, and used twin spin techs, i can tell you this, from cut out open to cut out closed, night and day difference.

With it closed, boost was WAY slow to build, it may have seemed fast at first, then i opened it, night and day, not to mention, it was way easier to use my boost controller...

Just givin some friendly advice from being their and doing that before.

We were able to get it down to 9psi on the single 38mm wastegate.
I have been thinking of putting a cut out.
I'm running 3in catback with borla mufflers. Full boost was at around 3800rpm.

Any pics of the the cutout??
Thx for the heads up btw.
