Default 1957 Cadillac. Twin 3076R 390ci

Thought I would put up a thread for those who don't follow the conversion section.

The car is a 1957 Eldorado Brougham that is rust free but needs restoration.

I had the Roadster Shop build a complete chassis for the car and they did a beautiful job.

The engine, which I'm collecting parts for is a 10-1 390 based off of a 6.0 iron block.

It will use a Callies c-series 3.825 stroke crank, compstar 6.2 rods and CP pistons. Small (undetectable) hyd roller cam, ETP 215's, Edelbrock pro-flo EFI intake manifold.

The turbo system starts out with modded/flipped 2010 Camaro manifolds. I like these as it's possible to get the turbos in exactly the same location to each other in reference to the engine.

Turbos are Tial/garrett GT3076R .63 exhaust a/r. Wastegates are Tial 44mm.

The turbos are purposely undersized as I want it to be as responsive as possible. (at the cost of high rpm efficiency). The car weighs 5300lbs stock and will probably still push close to 5k lbs when I'm done with it. When I hit the gas I want it to go now and not have to wait for the turbos to wake up.

Intercooler is a Precision "750hp" air/air which I'll post pics of when I get it mounted up.

The accessory system is by Wegner Motorsports. They are working on a bigger a/c compressor for me since I'm going to run dual a/c systems.

Very cool! I have thought about doing a similar motor with twin Borg s256 turbos (similar to gt30) on my 4900 lb 66 f250. Those old cars are just solid steel, lol.

Very cool! That's going to be an awesome cruiser. A buddy of mine back in the early '70's had one that he drove daily. The floor boards were gone and we could watch the highway under us from the back seat. Bob
