Measure the bore and stroke... Doubt you'll be able to tell by casting patterns.

as far as i know only l33's came with the flat tops in a 5.3 which is an aluminum block. havnt researched it though. They do share the same compression height and bore size though and are all interchangeable.

Looks 4.8. Find BDC and put a tape measure down the hole. 3.6" = 5.3l. 3.2"=4.8. want to sell those pistons?

You want lower compression? I've got a set of dished pistons for ya. Straight trade?

Smart if you did. I don't think many people will believe you though. Make sure your tuner keeps the timing very conservative with these stock bottom ends your using. They will stay alive and make power but will f*ck up alot of your parts when they go.

L33's are aluminum, that block is clearly iron. Measure the stroke as people are saying to find out if its a 4.8

Really? I can give a **** if people believe me..
The car was tuned on 10 degrees of timing on the ls2. Than I said **** it, I'll pull the ls2 and put a JY motor in while I forge the ls2. Plain and simple.

Right, i believe they use the same pistons, but he said he believes it may be an l33. Was stating that an l33 is an aluminum 5.3 and that tbe block in the pic looks to be iron.

Did u measure the stroke?
