What should it run?
I am interested to know what my car should be running. I know most people hate these type threads but I at least have some track data now. You can see what I have in my signature. I have only made one full pass at the track so far but it was blowing through the convertor. At least I think it was. It would hit the rev limiter immediately and just felt like I was spinning all the way down the track. The convertor was the 8" ATI convertor that I was using on my 498 previously. The car only went 6.85 @101 leaving at 3lbs of boost and totalled 7-8lbs. This is in the 1/8th mile.
The car now has a PTC convertor on the way and I think I can probably still hook this thing leaving at 7lbs of boost. My plan is to run a total of 15lbs and every once in a while try for 18lbs of boost in the 1/4.
I recently weighed the car and it is just shy of 3800lbs with me in it. Full cage, sound deadner, and sound system. All stock style suspension. The car was able to get on the back bumper with the big block and think it should still work pretty well with the turbo's. The 6.85 netted a 1.54 60ft leaving on very low boost.
With all this information. What kind of times should I be laying down? Also, how much further could I safely mess with the timing, plugs, meth?
Specs: 5.3 LM7 stock bottom end.
XER273 224/230 .581/.588
Patriot Gold Dual Valve springs
Stock Heads, LS9 gaskets
Truck manifolds flipped, twin 40mm Wastegates opened to atmosphere
Twin PTE62/62 with .58 exhaust housing
E85/No Intercooler
AIS water injection using -20 windshield washer fluid but am willing to spray more meth. Fuel is currently E70 but should be E85 soon.
16 degrees total timing at full boost
2 step set for 3k and 22 degrees timing while on the transbrake
NGK 7 plugs
AFR is 10.5-10.8 at full boost and water/meth injection coming on at 10lbs.
My goal is 6 teens and mid 9's on a safe tune and to NOT blow it up.
Thanks.

So would mine be considered "efficient?" I was thinking this should be able to make 800 to the wheels at 15-19lbs of boost with the cam I have and conservative tune. Not based on anything but reading other combo's. I also figured that 800 with a good tune would still keep the 5.3 alive for some time. Not sure how long but hopefully a season. Again, nothing to base this off of except reading other combos'.

if your 60 foot stays around the same and you can actually hook well on 7lbs off the line...then id guess at that weight youll shave down to around 6.20-6.30. just a guess. but im usually close. i think this thread belongs in another section though personally. seems like i saw one a few years ago that was just about this exact type of subject. good luck man. keep it straight.
