If your downpipe is going thru the bumper then there's really no need for new mounts.....

Im running the Spohn solids (stock k-member) only because it gives me a little more room if i ever did decide to put a full exhaust on the car.....

Ok so should I keep my stock mounts or go after market, the only reason I'm asking is cuz I'm putting the motor in this week and don't want to do it again. Andrew

P.s sorry for the messy post

Up to you really, if you dont need them then i see no need to spend the extra cash, put it towards something else you need....

I have poly mounts on my car with a stock k-member. Only running a 3" downpipe and had to notch the k-member. Not much room down there with stock gear!

BMR Turbo k-member here with poly mounts. Nice thing about the poly mounts is that they never deteriorate....as long as you don't cook them from being too close to the turbo downpipe. Usually not an issue.

BMR turbo K member and poly mounts here.

I would at least do Poly mounts that will help with reduce the amount the motor twists. No need to run solid mounts

I am running Spohn solids. However, I am using the stock K-member and running the down pipe through there. If you are going out the fender, and your current mounts are good, spend that money elsewhere like mentioned above.

I am using stock manifolds and my downpipe is not all that close to anything under there and my poly motor mounts melted like they were made of wax on both sides. I bought these from UMI and no problem since. No noticeable change in ride quality or vibration.

I still have the poly cross member mount.
