Wiseco pistons and Eagle rods. Yes, rebalance.

Good to know on the low boost Skinnies.

The rear is caltrac split mono's with a 3" drop, relocated shocks on a crossmember.

Front is stock sub, Afco adjustable spring buckets and 650lb springs, 2" drop spindles (the ones with bolt on steering arms), Chevelle steering arms mounted backwards, inner tie rod mounts relocated 2 inches upward (cheap way of Ridetech's Truturn), SC&C Xtra tall upper ball joints, SPC upper arms, stock lowers. The thing handles great but I need a set of Corbeau seats pronto.

Front and rear shocks are Bilsteins revalved by Race Car Dynamics.

How far do honestly feel the small bore aluminum can go? Would 900-1000Hp wheel be asking for trouble? Any reason you didn't bore it out to 3.9x?

I ask because I have a l33 bare block, just trying to decide what I want to do with it.

Thanks bud.

I dont see any issues going to 1000rwhp. However your going to need a monster turbo to push that much airflow at the expense of spooling and street manners. The liners are really thick in the L33 so I wanted to keep that so I didnt bore it any bigger. Mine's a street car that also will see some road course and auto x duty so a bigger turbo was out of the question.

I didnt have to clearance the tunnel much. Maybe a tap or two but the Nova tunnel is a little more rounded than the squared off Camaro tunnel. Im just using the stock 5.3 ecm and harness with a segment swap via HPtuners.

I was wondering when someone was going to try a home built TruTurn system. Have you checked the bumpsteer numbers with your setup? Ridetech advertises .050" throughout the suspension travel. I would be interested to see what yours comes out to?

How did you come up with the 2" raise? Is that what the Ridetech piece is?

Great project btw

New video from the track. This one is a redlight pass but was one of the better videos.

The car did go 9.98 at 139 for my personal best.

Awesome build man, I love how clean and simple you kept everything, looks great! Congrats on the 9 second pass too. What psi were you running on the last dragstrip outing? Any chance you would post a slip or at least the 60ft?
