thoughts about the c6/truck manifold turbo kit...
Im in the process of piecing together parts for my turbo z/28 project... I have been doing searches here and there but I haven't seen many people who have made this setup... My question is how do the people who run this type of kit like it compared to the tubular top mount headers iv seen a few use?

I have seen very few also, there is a guy on here that I see frequently. Maybe he will chime in. I would do just for the fact that cast manifolds are stronger. And not to mention cheaper.

Ive been running one for about 3 years. I love it, no worry of cracking manifolds, cheap, easy plug access and no burned wires. Power will depend on your turbo. I made just under 800whp through a locked auto and 9 inch on a comp 80/79mm turbo at 17psi, stock heads

There's good fabrication pictures of that type of setup on the last few pages of my thread.

Josh @KY turbo is putting the finishing touches on my AC setup right now. I should have it within the next 1-2 weeks, and I'll do a build thread with pics once that happens. It's going on a forged 370 based on a Precision 7675 CEA turbo.

0269camaro, when you get today tuned and dyno can you let me know how it does? I have a josh c6 manifold kit on a 370 with a comp 8079 and would love to compare. Also if you wanted to check back pressure you could have josh put an 02 bung before the turbine. I just did that to see when I should stop raising the boost
