Got my buddies 4.8 in the f body tuned up last night. 9.5 psi from a t6 1.10 83mm s472....runs really good for what it is full spool by 3800 with 6 speed. it brake spools 9.5...which is awesome lol....car needs another 255 and 8an feed and a good regulator and a boost controller and it will see 15 to 20 psi. has 80lb injectors and was 90% duty cycle...so it was running out of pressure somewhere lol
You are able to foot brake the car to load the turbo with a 6 speed manual T56???

YES! 3rd gear 55-60mph hold the gas and brake 2-3 seconds its 9.5 psi and the wastegate starts screaming....I cant wait till he gets a controller and fixes the fuel problem...

My mistake....when I hear the term "foot braking" I think of a car at the tree at a drag strip building boost and getting ready to launch.

yes pump only last night....car has a meth kit on that we will be running 100% meth very soon...just ordered another pump....the car had 2 walbro 255's in it but I sold the car without the fuel system, the bucket is already for 2 pumps so its just a drop in deal

I couldnt believe it either. I had this hot side kit on a ls1 with a s480 1.32 t6 and it made 9.5psi at 3800...maybe the tune idk...
Looking at my logs, I floor it at 2600rpm in top gear (about 70mph), Im only at 5# by 3500rpm.
Im running 28* timing until 3500 then ramp down to 18* by 4500. Im pretty rich arond 11:1 the whole time it is spooling up, any leaner and it seems to spool slower. What kind of timing and AFR are you running while its spooling?
Do you have a line going to the top of your wastegate and boost controller or just run it off the spring and bottom port? Im just on the bottom ports. I wonder if my gates are opening slightly and slowing spool up?
yea we started at 2500 in 3rd gear af was 11.5 starting and 12.0 at top end 6700, but having fuel problems...80lb injectors were 90% duty cycle but I am fixing that today. No boost controller yet just spring pressure. car has a Tial 44mm gate referenced from the buttom port goin right to the turbo. timing is 20* afr is 11.5-12.0
your gates could be opening up...what kind? what is your setup?

your gates could be opening up...what kind? what is your setup?
Thanks for the info. My setup is an l92 headed 6.0, ls3 intake, 220/220 114 cam, single PT76. I was running a single tial 44 but would not go under 11psi or so so I added a Precision 39 I had. I might take the 39 off and see how the 44 does by itself again(added the 39 because the 44 is at a bad angle)
