Default Ford Alternator on a LS1 motor?

This is just a feeler thread.
We are looking at making a alternator bracket that will allow the use
of a ford alternator on a LS1 motor so the guys doing a LS1 swap in
a mustang can use their stock alternator.

This would make the alternator wiring plug and play.

You right about the 2G alternators being junk.
We have been doing some research and the 2G is like 65 amps.
All the guys with that alt upgrade to the 3G.

As far as wasting our time one will never know until they try.

imo there is a market for it, small yes but you would have it cornered imo. just do it for the diff acc drives like f-body or truck, etc. either that or offer a connector for the gm alt with the resistor built into it already so a 12v source is hooked up and its done
