Tons of people. Check put the blue c6 in this months GM high tech, made 1026 with 18psi, the silver t/a here in the forced induction section, made 1147wheel at 27psi on a little 347 to boot.

I've seen 8-10 cars at 1k + whp with the 31x12x4, I my self am running one and planning on 25-30#s. If it's a restriction, I will just buy another for 150$ and double stack em.

I've read a few threads on here where ppl have said those intercoolers have been a little suspect with some ppl. I think bob has even said that?

They hVe been known for possibly being a restriction, but seems like it's about 10-15% of em, I looked in the end tanks on mine and It seems like it would flow a good amount. I put a 3.5" Inlet and 4" outlet on mine, hoping that will help it further

they probably made a revision to the fins inside the intercooler, older ones had more drop, newer ones had less of a drop

why were you thinking about another type of intercooler. you can consider a2w, but the Cx is bang for the buck. tons of people running those.

I cant find any CX racing intercoolers on EBay. All I see are God Speed and Universal intercoolers are these the same as the CX racing ones? The only CX racing intercoolers hav the inlet/outlet in the front of the intercooler..

I've got the 3" wide intercooler off CXRacing (GodSpeed) and with my pulley combo, (7.65" crank/ 4.00" blower), I saw 15psi @ 6800 rpm. That seems a little high to me, but at least I know the intercooler and plumbing isn't restricting things.

it must be either my piping or intercooler because... im running a F1a with a 3.7 and a 7.25 and only making 15 psi at the motor with the filter and tube off.. 700rwhp through a 4l80e trying to lock and 644rwhp unlocked.. Thats on a 402 with ls3 heads
