Default Wastegate Mounting Position

I've been reading that directly in the exhaust flow path is best for mounting the wastegate and 45 degrees from it is good. I was thinkingif you come off of the collector with a 45 and then it bends another 45 is that alright to do or would it be the same as a 90 into the wg?

Angle off the merge doesn't really matter much I think. The exhaust still has to do a 90 out of the wg

Here's how i routed mine. I have the opposite of boost creep though. I cant keep enough pressure on top of it to keep it closed and hold it over the spring pressure. I think itll get fixed with EBC though
