Default Modular Turbo kit and ON3 turbo #s stock motor

Its a 2000 Camaro Z28 M6. and 3.23 gears. The Motor is BONE STOCK with a Weland intake and 85.mm tb. Fuel pump is a areomotive 340 65psi with the hot wire kit. I used Modular Turbo's kit and a ON3 76mm tubo.
We are using ZR1 55lb injectors. The waste gate is a JGS400.
We were only getting 4 psi of boost out of it. We think its the boost reference for wastegate. It is off of the turbo housing. I am going to move it up to the intake manifold tomorrow.
It put down 477whp and 502tq on 4 psi of boost. afr was 10 and stock timing on 91 oct. We called it quits for the day till i can get the boost drop fiked. The car and turbo have alot left in them. we are hoping for 600whp next week.

Would you have the part number for those fuel injectors by chance?

Nice numbers for 4# but you better be careful with the stock timing once you figure out the boost issue

You are going to blow your motor running stock timing.

Interesting, i thought you could not buy their kit unless you bought everything from them... Maybe im mistaken,

Anyhow, yes, GET THAT TIMING DOWN. that is gonna get real dangerous, real fast.

Should def post some pics to man. Good results so far though.

True but he says he is running 91.

OP, why not start with reasonable timing, dial in your fuel, and then go back to see if you can add a few degrees back in? I think you are asking for trouble by relying on your knock sensors to tell you when you have too much timing

Not to **** in the wind thats blowing your direction, but just as a reference to your #'s. Timing has alot to do with how much power it will make, esp at stock timing. I'll give you a little insight on what to expect when you start adding boost and reduce timing.

01 SS, Iron 6.0, 6spd, truck manifold, MPT76mm Turbo
5psi boost car made 486rwhp at 17 deg
Same boost at 14 deg made 469

9psi @ 14 deg 55xrwhp
9psi @ 17 deg 59xrwhp

The 477rwhp you made is great and all, but like others stated, be carefull on that compression with ANY boost on stock timing.

You can use a 4'x3-1/2 silicone reducing 90 degree elbow and turn it facing the driver's side
and run a 3-1/2 pipe from the elbow and put a monster filter in the bumper on the driver's side.

Depending on the 90 you buy you may need to trim a little off the 4" side to make it fit.
Some 90's have more leg than others

Chris made sure that a large filter could be used.
