Default Manley Forged 2618 with boost

Simple question.
Diamond and weisco seem to be the popular brands. Manley with skirt coatings and same comparable material, why are these never talked about?
Is there something wrong with Manley?

I could only find this:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...s-pistons.html

but there are a ton more with Diamond / weisco as choice... just really curious if there is a reason...

I used them in my 6.0 on 14-17psi and 600-675rwhp for two years. I thought they looked like a quality piece but my engine builder friend said they looked pretty basic. I got them through SDPC so I guess they are the only ones marketing these?

I used them in a 600whp Honda a few years ago. Ended up splitting a sleeve, pistons looked perfect. I will definately consider them if I ever build a forged Lsx.

Just looked at their site and they don't have much selelction for stock stroke motors. They only have a -4 and -10 cc piston. That could be one reason not many people use them.

There is a bigger selection on the 4.00 and 4.1 pistons but not everybody is always building a stroker motor.
