f-1a procharger off a ls2. would it be compatable with my ls1??? please help.

Default f-1a procharger off a ls2. would it be compatable with my ls1??? please help.

hey guys so im new to ls1tech and i been looking into this procharger this guy has for his corvette he has ls2 and although the engines basically same except for internals such as bore from the ls1 im curious to kno if any1 knows if this is compatable with my 98 ls1 camaro, i kno piping and all would need fab work since 2 diff cars. but would procharger work on my car?? any input would be appreciated i just wana be 100% sure before forking out thousand of dollars

Depends on how it was mounted and the rotation of the head unit. I know for some setups on the vette the mount facing inward which would be a different rotation. The the serial number off the blower and call procharger and ask.

thanx checkin on it now. also with havin ls1 n 11:1 compression. would it b safe to run procharger/supercharger at low psi?

What fuel do you plan on using? You can get away with it if you have a good tuner and don't get to greedy. I wouldnt run more then 8-10psi or so. You can add methanol as well and it will help

on a f1-a id say 5-6lbs on an ls1. you can give john a call @ procharger tech support and get the answers you need.

The C5/C6 Corvette and 98-02 F Body head units interchange as they are both reverse rotation. The clocking is different but that is easy to change. I sell all the piece parts that you may need at this link. http://shop.brutespeed.com/98-02-F-Body_c181.htm
