Rear Mount On A 05 GTO
I have been meaning to post my new setup. I have a 05 gto with a custom rear mount turbo daily driver..
We made 573rwhp & 582tq @ 10psi with only 11 degrees of timing. we still have much more on the table but we stopped there just because we are on the stock bottom end still. I do use the car as my daily driver so i have over 5000 miles of street driving I have been waiting on my new weld wheels and tires I finally got the wheels in after 2 months of waiting. Just have to put the wheels on and get the car to the track now. We did a few passes at lebanon valley dragway on opening day and at 6psi we were trapping 133mph and our best time was 12.01 with a 2.54 60 foot. That was on old drag radials with no tire left on the stock wheel.. Once i find time i will add some videos and hopefully i can find time to make it to the track with new wheels and tires soon.
As blackonblacksls stated below 133mph doesn't look right he is correct I made a honest mistake i trapped 128mph I had to bring out the notebook.
This video was when the car was first tuned. Many addition hours has gone into the tune after this video. This video is about 2 months old..

For the people wanting to know how the car runs with hot weather.. If you are located in northeast area you will know that the pass 3 days we been hitting well over 100 degrees so i decided to put the car for a test. I drove around 400 miles total the pass 3 days and the car acts the same if it were 80 degrees. I haven't had time to take pictures of the setup yet for those that are waiting for the pictures..

That's what the boost gauge said. Like i stated above the car wasn't finished to be honest those old numbers don't mean nothing only my future numbers I am just sharing the result I had that day. We do have a new vac spot for the gauge and isn't as lazy reading boost. Now as far as losing boost i know we lost at least 2-3 psi for sure if i am not mistaking Lebanon valley dragway is 800 feet above sea level..
I should have new results with time slips and logs soon.. I'm not here to be misleading but to share my results and build.

well maybe the whole story is different..
I have been 134mph @10psi and I know it should take right around 600 to 650rwhp depending on weight.. In something the weight of a corvette maybe 550 to 600rwhp but I know your car isn't that light..
