Default Vortech v2 sq to v2 t trim

So I had a v2 sq unit that came with my car n it spun a bearing so I purchased a v2 t trim off of a guy that was rebuilt with new casing and interals etc etc has all the paperwork for it. I pop off my old one to mock it up with the new one and they look totally different...from the angle the outlet is to the mounting points. I even called vortech to see if it would fit n the guy said it would minus the inlet...do what do I do now? I need help guys and fast I'm very frustrated and my car is down.

loosen the volute and reclock the volute. Once you loosen the volute (the outside outlet piece, you can spin it to get it clocked correctly.

did you confirm that they where the same direction rotation prior to buying them? What is your application and what was the new one off of?

Is it a straight discharge unit? You can rotate the volute a full 360 to whereever you need it to be. You can also rotate the actual blower part by changing the drain plug and feed plug.

don't know what to say... to my knowledge they're interchangeable(v1,v2,v7). The only ones that aren't to my knowledge are the v4 and v27's(different bolt patterns).

If you confirmed that it'll work from vortech then you have to play with the roation of the volute or the actual blower as I mentioned. You're going to have to play with it and get it to work; there's not anything I can say to instantly solve your problem.

man this post is old and i am sure its been resolved but sounds like you are dealing with a cw/ccw issue. i got the same problem basically. i need a ccw volute and impeller, because the blower spins *** backwards now and the discharge is 180° from where i thought it would be.
