Exhaust advice needed.
I have a 2000 TA with a cam, longtubes, LS6, and a D1-SC. The primarys are 1 3/4" to a 3" collector. Then a 2 1/2" Y pipe that merges into 2 3/4". I have a Corsa catback that starts at 2 3/4" to attach to the Y, then 3" the rest of the way. My question is, would it be worth it to change to 1 7/8" primary, 3" inlet to 3 1/2" outlet Y pipe, and a 3 1/2" catback? I'm also in the planning stage of a forged motor. So I'll be maxing the D1 out. Thanks.
