Can you post a few more pic of your downpipe routing? Ive been tossing around the idea of twins for awhile and that is EXACTLY how i wanted to run mine! Never seen it done before, on a 4th gen at least. nice work!!

I will snap some pics the next later today. Basically dp's go around the front frame rails, under the sway bar, and down the sides of the block. 20minute cam swaps?

It is done, and dyno'ed on 11lbs. Had some issues on the dyno. He's getting married this weekend so I wouldn't expect an update soon.

Nice! Congrats to him! I'll assume the car will be up for sale soon then since he's getting hitched? Lol totally kidding!

Great to hear it's up and running!

Thanks! She is well aware that the car isn't going anywhere .

But yes as mentioned, the car is finally together and running. Just before I went to the dyno session I didn't have many miles on the setup, so I went out for a drive to do some boost pulls and a wastegate stuck open on me (Emusa 38s). So we took them off and cleaned them out and inspected them and put them back on. It was the same story, they were both sticking open, shut and everything in between. We decided to run it with shop air holding them open just to see what it would do, boost was creeping upto 16psi at high RPM. Luckily the shop (MAP) we were dynoing at ,had some Turbosmart Compgate 40s in stock that I picked up and bolted on. Of course it was late in the day by this point, so we only got some wastegate spring pressure only pulls in. The gates are still too small, and boost was creeping up, so we didn't bother hooking up the holley boost control yet.

At 11psi it was making 783rwhp with 14.5 degrees of timing. 1 degree of timing picked it up 65rwhp at that point. We were pulling to 8500rpm, she sounds mean! By then it was the end of the day at the dyno, so that's all the numbers I have for now. It was ready to drive to the wedding anyway!

I changed the springs out this past weekend and turned it upto 20psi, it finally feels kinda fast now! I will get some more numbers and videos later on, and hopefully get to the track this fall with it, a few bugs with the rest of the car to work out in the mean time.

20psi to 8500 should put you well over 1000!!!, groundbreaking build as far as rpms go, you don't see many v8 builds even built bottom ends go beyond 65-7000

Thanks!

This is the only dyno graph I have online, sorry for the quality, but the red/blue is the N/A engine dyno of the current engine setup. The lighter green/yellow lines is an overlay of the old low compression/stock heads 332" with an LS3 intake manifold.

Too much goodness in this thread. Congrats on the car, and on getting hitched. I really like the way you routed the downpipes.

Man that thing rips hard even in NA form! Performs better down low than I initially thought it would.

Still running the short runner sheetmetal LS3 intake, fixed it up after blowing it apart on the last setup.
