Thanks everyone! Getting pretty excited to see how it does. Dyno day with the turbo is scheduled for November 16th. Got my billet rails, hose and fittings here now. So I have to make the lines for the fuel rails, and then some oil lines for the turbo. Ordered an LS1 to LS3 MAP extension for my LS9 3 bar map, along with a 2 step from lingenfelter yesterday. Also ordered the comp rocker trunion upgrade finally. Getting closer to making some big power!

How much HP can your dyno handle? I bet Myron will be impressed with the numbers you'll hopefully see lol.

The old superflow 901 has a 1000 ft lb limit with the standard strain gauge, even at max boost I might not quite hit 4 digit torque numbers. So it should hold all I am willing to throw at it for now! If everything is going well, I will probably just see how much boost it will take to put it a little ways over the 1000 HP mark and call it good!

The most the dyno has seen is a 900 some HP nitrous LT1 I believe. Myron is excited to see it run for sure, he was impressed with the NA HP numbers from the little 332.

I'm very excited to see what your tq numbers will be at lower rpm, and what kind of back pressure this motor will make...very cool! You've got to be pumped!

Jakson, did you spec the cam yourself or is that TPIS cam?
I may have to stop down and check it out.

It is one my buddy had for sale that I was able to get a deal on. It was very close to the specs that I had in mind though, it should work great!

Quick pic of the new fuel rails and regulator.

FIC1000's, they take LS9 injectors and modify them with a different nozzle. They flow 107lbs at 58psi. I will be finding their limit, will probably have to crank up the pressure some.

did you have to get the rotating assembly re-balanced to use the 4.8 crank or did you just put it in and all the cranks are balanced the same?

been thinking of putting a 5.3 crank in my 6.0 since my 6.0 is a 2000 and has the longer crank in it that i cant use with my t56

I am very interested in this as well. The fact that the bottom end should be a little softer interests me the most since I have a 6 speed and Moser 12 bolt in mine. Please post results when you get them

Yes I had to rebalance it. It ended up being really close, but that was just luck. In your case I would definitely want to check it. The 6.0 pistons will be heavier, so the counterweight on the 5.3 crank would be too light. It depends on what year the 5.3 crank is though too, the early rods are lighter than the later ones. So in the end you really need to check it, most machine shops shouldn't charge more than 175 to balance it up, unless it needs mallory heavy metal installed in the counterweight.

As far as the dyno situation, the engine is on the dyno again and running with the turbo setup. We had a different engine that was on the dyno until the last minute, so that pushed everything back as far as getting my engine on and ready to go. Then there was a few issues that came up, and we just ran out of time to get it running well before the tuner had to leave yesterday. We will be working on it again on Monday.

Engine dyno results finally. 1092HP/755TQ at 7600rpm, and 20psi boost. It loves the high rpm no doubt. A little issue with the wastegate controlling the boost, it would slowly ramp in until 7000rpm. We will get the wastegate taken care of before it goes in the car, and put down some 4 digit numbers to the wheels next spring. Going to spin it a little higher in the car as well, ran out of time on the engine dyno before we could turn it up more.
