Default which intake to go with? vic style or the pro flo?

I have been trying to decide which intake to go with on my 370 All-Pro cathedral headed motor. I have seen some fast combos using the vic style intake but to me the pro flo looks promising. I want to use it but there aren't many real high hp setups out there with it, unless im not looking hard enough. As of right now im leaning on the vic but I wish I could see somebody really pushing the pro flo. Which would you go with?

Hood clearance is not an issue. Its going in a 72 nova with a 6 inch cowl hood.

my vote would be for the new Holley intake if clearance isn't an option.

I believe he made just over 600whp on this run. I believe 750whp on 16psi.

yep, thanks

I did 767.9 on a dynojet and backed it up with a 762 on a different dynojet the next day. this was on 15.5 psi or so, i was a bit suprised myself.

also check out the guy from sweden, he ran the stock pro flo intake for a while and made big power on a 427 based lsx. I do like the holley, but didnt have the time to wait around for it, plus the pro-flo fits under my stock chevelle hood.

the Pro-Flo XT has better distribution and wider power band than the Vic Jr.

Ive run both and am very impressed with my pro-flo!

Thanks guys. I knew the vic would have worked but I found some info about the elbow causing some distribution problems. I think I'm changing the program a little and going with the pro-flow.
