Default ls6vsls2/ 04gtovs06gto

so i am looking into getting a gto after deployment. i want to make a twin turbo set up i know my ls6 set up i wana run

ls6 motor, heads (port polished), intake (port polished), cam, twins off reverse truck manifolds, apr head studs and crank rod studs, dual springs, dished pistons. other then that really woudl be just waiting for the car to blow something up tp build up the bottom end (i also have a ls6 block that i can work on getting built for when the motor does blow. just less down time)

with the ls2 what are the options. i dont know much about these motors compaired to ls6 besieds that a 6.0 not a 5.7.

LS2: same options, more displacement, more power. Ideal larger bore.
LS2 timing chain, LS2 lifter trays are some things that come to mind are better to use.
Someone else can chime in with more details im sure.

Either you get the 5.7 or 6.0 throw some 317 heads to lower the compression.
If it was me I wouldn't build the motor unless your looking to make a lot of hp. As these motors can take a lot in a stock form. Especially the new gen motors since they have the thick rods. Only weak link is the pistons. But run some good gas and it'll live with the right tune.

i know as long as i ge that compression ratio down (witch is why the 5.7 is easier running the 6.0 heads and dished pistons) throw twins at it and they make awsome hp around 14-20psi easy. as long as i get head studs and crank rod studs it will hold.
i woudl love to play with the idea or like a whipp supercharger with a bypass for low boost and a nice big turbo for rpm. just like the diesel guys have been playign with but i can imagine the tune on a gas engine would be

Are you talking about rodbolts?
If so, don't worry about them the stock ones will do the job.
