Can 304cfm heads make 900 RWHP......single turbo....
I want to use my ported LS1 heads, for now, on my new engine. When I can build the 6-bolt LSX I'll also upgrade the heads to 6-bolt and thick decks.
I'm just wanting to know if these ported LS1 heads, at 304 cfm flow, is gonna kill this engine under 18-20psi? edit:........Kill the engine: meaning....hold it back from its potential. Weak link.

Probably so. And in the future you'll just make the same power at lower boost level or take less boost to make the same power. < Either way you want to look at it.
I would think your issues would be making a lil less horsepower than the turbo can make, keeping the heads clamped.
But let's face it, once the manifold becomes pressurized the turbo is making the CID moreso than the heads.

ported LS1 heads
LS6 intake
ported stock TB
stock crank ((might go with a 3.825" Callies forged crank last minute for a 390ci))
Callies rods
Diamond pistons
9:1 cr
4L80E
99+ PCM
My 1998 WS6. All the stuff in the sig below.
Haven't picked a turbo yet......I'll leave that Up to my friend. I'd like as little or no lag as possible of course.
100% roll racer, street only. Never......drag racing from a dig.
