Default Cam and valve spring question

Hi Fellas. I am building an aluminum 5.7 ls1 turbo motor, and am wondering if anybody has done this using the stock roller cam and valve springs. It is out of a 2000 ta. 8.7 to 1 c.r. 12 to 15 psi. any input is greatly appreciated.

Ive ran a 5.3 with the stock cam and valvesprings up to 12psi without issue.

A cam and springs is any easy power gain and you should upgrade springs to avoid problems anyway. Try for more compression also. 9.5 to 10:1.

I was going to go higher on the c.r. , but I am shooting for around 575 to 600 rwhp. I have been told that is about the limit of the aluminum block. I also wanted good cruise manners, and no race gas or meth inj. Plus, I already got my mahle , -16cc pistons. I can always add more boost, should i need it.
