Default On3 T76 + GT45 Hybrid?

The On3 T76 is a 76/65 while the biggest eBay GT45 is a 69/77. A few people on here have mentioned putting the GT45 turbine into the On3 T76 compressor, or vice versa. This would make a pretty sweet turbo for still a reasonable price. Anyone attempted this? Or does anyone have both turbos to see if it's possible? Pictures of the two reveal similar turbine/compressor to CHRA mounting methods, but pictures only tell so much.

I actually have both of these turbos, I'll take some measurements to see if it is even possible to do this.

Well, both turbo's are pretty cheap from eBay. The On3 has a nice 76mm compressor, but the turbine is 65mm, too small for many LS applications. The GT45 however has a nice 77mm turbine, but a smallish 69mm compressor. So the idea would be to take the compressor of the On3 and the turbine of the GT45 and make a 76/77 turbo. Name brand turbos of this size are quite pricey, $1200+ for the Turbonetic 7675 for example.

I was hoping someone had both the On3 and the GT45 turbos to see if some of the parts are interchangeable.

I have two GT45s here. If anyone local with a On3 T76 wants to try it, let me know.

BTW, I believe I have the smaller 67/64 GT45s, not the 69/77.

Which GT45? The 67/64 or the 69/77?

CXRacing makes an 80mm (80/77) GT45. $600 on eBay.
