Usually the top vents to atm. and the bottom goes to your mbc.

I am am assuming that MBC stands for manual boost controller.

I have a "pressure" line (before throttle body/carb) that runs into the manual boost controller, an then into the bottom of the wastegate. that's it.

also, I put a banjo bolt of the top of the BOV, just to help keep water/dust out.

I'll run down and take a picture for you in a few.

I am a little embarrassed by it, everything is rusty and dirty... it will all be powdercoated this winter.

i dont see why not, there are many threads of using that source or the compressor housing for the wastegate. Me personally, ill be running EVERYTHING off the vacuum block, except my wastegate, my wastegate side port will be installed as pictured, but T'd off to the compressor housing

How you plumb it is very dependant on the boost pressure you intend to be running, relative to base spring pressure.

Blow into the bottom port for lower pressures. If you cannot achieve enough boost doing this, then adding a reference to the top port wil help, although may increase your lowest base setting.

And if you needs lots of boost then you can simply blow into the top port only to keep the w/g shut.. I doubt many LS builds would need to go that far though.

For starters, blowing into the bottom port only is safest. If it doesnt work for you then look to other methods.

Also, I wouldnt connect the supply for the MBC to any port where there are important items connected too.
As this port will now vent some air, it can affect readings. I would only ever connected the boost control source to a dedicated port.
